I must say, for once a moe style series didn't make me throw up in mouth. Yes, I'm talking about Railgun. I'm usually not one for animes where its a group of moe girls focused on slice of life comedies, luckily, Railgun was far from that. The main reason I think the series didn't rub me the wrong way was the main character. For once, the main character wasn't a total weak little girl who is slow in the head. Instead, Misaka, the main character, turned out to be one of my favorite female characters. The only thing that bothered me was the all female cast for the most part. They had little cameos of the main male character from Index, but other then that, don't expect any males in Railgun. There are also a few episodes just dedicated to fan service, but for the most part, the series stays on track with the story line. I tried to think what category Railgun would be in, but couldn't think of a simple way to say comedy, sifi, slice of life, fighting, school anime. lol Anyways, overall, the series was fantastic. I really hope they put out a second season for it. I would highly suggest everyone go watch it.
